Wholesale

Effective Date: 27 January 2026

Elle Olive (“we”, “us”, “our”) offers a range of premium olive oils and related products to wholesale customers. By purchasing from Elle Olive on a wholesale basis, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which apply exclusively to bulk, business, or professional purchases. All wholesale enquiries and sales must be conducted through julie@elleolive.com.


Eligibility and Account Registration

Wholesale services are available only to businesses or professional buyers. To place an order, you must provide accurate business details, including your company name, registered business number, billing address, and contact information. You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is correct and up to date.

We reserve the right to:

  • Approve, decline, or suspend any wholesale account or order at our discretion.

  • Request additional information to verify your business or professional status.

All wholesale enquiries, new account requests, and orders must be submitted via julie@elleolive.com.


Orders and Acceptance

Wholesale orders are placed exclusively through email to julie@elleolive.com. Each order constitutes an offer to purchase products under these Terms. Orders are confirmed once we review and approve them, and we issue an order confirmation via email.

We reserve the right to reject or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of:

  • Product unavailability

  • Pricing errors

  • Irregular order patterns

Product descriptions, specifications, and prices are indicative. While we strive for accuracy, we reserve the right to correct any errors before confirming an order.


Pricing and Payment

All prices listed in correspondence or quotations are in NZD, exclusive of shipping unless otherwise indicated. Payment must be completed in full prior to dispatch, unless a separate credit account has been approved.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Visa, MasterCard, American Express (via Shopify Payments)

  • PayPal

  • Bank transfer (for approved accounts)

Orders will not be dispatched until payment is received and cleared. We reserve the right to update pricing or payment terms, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.


Delivery and Shipping

Shipping is arranged through our approved carriers. Risk of loss or damage remains with Elle Olive until products are delivered to the address provided by you or your nominated recipient.

You are responsible for inspecting all deliveries promptly. Any damaged packaging or product defects must be reported to julie@elleolive.com within 24 hours of delivery, including photographs and supporting details. Once reported and approved, replacements will be arranged at our cost.

Shipping costs for standard orders are communicated in the email quotation. While we aim to deliver within the estimated timelines, we cannot be held liable for delays caused by carriers or events beyond our control.


Damaged Goods, Returns, and Exchanges

Wholesale orders cannot be returned for a change of mind. Returns or replacements are accepted only for:

  • Products delivered with visible damage to packaging or contents

  • Verified order errors

Returned products must be securely packaged and shipped to Elle Olive as instructed. Shipping costs for approved returns will be borne by Elle Olive. Exchanges or replacements will be made at our discretion, either for the same product or a comparable alternative of equal value. Refunds are generally not provided for wholesale orders, except where legally required.


Product Disclaimer

From production to dispatch, we adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations. Wholesale customers acknowledge that our products are sensitive, perishable goods, and that their quality may be affected by storage or transportation conditions. Elle Olive provides no express or implied warranties regarding product use or suitability beyond compliance with applicable standards.


Limitation of Liability

Elle Olive shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from wholesale transactions, except where prohibited by law. Our total liability for any claims relating to wholesale products is limited to the total amount paid for the order in question.

Force majeure events including natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, or transport delays do not render Elle Olive liable for loss or delay.


Modifications

We reserve the right to update or amend these Wholesale Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via julie@elleolive.com and take effect immediately for all future orders.


Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by New Zealand law. Any disputes arising from wholesale transactions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
